First Private Equity Firm Singularly Focused on Investments in Middle Market Aerospace and Defense Businesses

Who We Are

Liberty Hall Capital Partners was founded in 2011 as the first private equity firm singularly focused on investments in middle market businesses serving the global aerospace and defense industry. We seek to earn superior risk-adjusted returns by leveraging our deep investment and operating experience to help our management partners build better businesses. Utilizing our “hands-on”, demonstrated and repeatable investment strategy, we seek to transform middle market aerospace and defense companies into larger, more capable and diverse strategic assets.

Through implementation of our research-driven investment strategy, we seek to identify segments within the global aerospace and defense industry with above market growth and differentiated risk-return characteristics. While we are aerospace and defense sector specialists, we are business model agnostic; we target suppliers and manufacturers, aircraft financiers, distributors and MRO service providers and software and technology companies serving the aerospace, defense and space end markets.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Liberty Hall has a demonstrated track record of acquiring, integrating and building global businesses. Our 24 acquisitions include businesses located in the United States (14 acquisitions), United Kingdom (4), Germany (2), Australia, Austria, Israel and New Zealand. Our current and former portfolio companies support every significant commercial aerospace, defense and space platform and serve global OEMs and defense primes across over 300 airlines, 1,000 helicopter operators and 11,500 business jet owners.

Our 25+ Year History of Excellence
