James J. Fitzsimmons is an Operating Advisor to Liberty Hall and has over 45 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Mr. Fitzsimmons has served as a consultant to several aerospace businesses and private equity firms since 2009. Mr. Fitzsimmons previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the North America Aerostructures Division of GKN Aerospace, a global enterprise with over $900 million in annual revenues. He has also held senior management positions with The Boeing Company, ITT Corporation, Lucas Aerospace and TRW Aerospace. Mr. Fitzsimmons serves or has served on the boards of directors of several companies in the aerospace and health care industries and as a Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Tennessee’s Aerospace & Defense MBA Program. Mr. Fitzsimmons earned his B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of Alabama and his M.S. in Management from the University of Arkansas.
